Jonas Mekas at the New York Public Library!
Join us at the New York Public Library on Monday, October 16th as we celebrate the release of A Dance with Fred Astaire! Mekas will discuss anecdotes from the book with film critic Amy Taubin, as well as present a selection of short 16mm films curated from the Library’s collection.The event also marks the debut of the book’s limited deluxe edition, housed in a plexiglass case, with a silk screen print signed and personalized with watercolors by Mekas.
